Specialising in Italian food illustration requires an acute understanding of the Italian cuisine, food culture, and farming traditions. Being married to an Italian gastronome has helped me hone my knowledge of this country’s healthy Mediterranean diet and cooking habits. The posts in this section encompass every single illustration I’ve ever created for, both, my Illustration Blog (self-commissioned artwork) and Illustration Portfolio (client commissions). It also displays a wide range of illustration techniques. Some are analogue – in ink, watercolour, gouache and alcohol markers. While others are purely digital, or are simply a combination of analogue and digital mediums.
